We are excited to announce a new season of Fr. Leo's show, Savoring our Faith on EWTN. Over the past year, we have filmed in different parts of the country and around the world, visiting restaurants, shrines, and families to take the show to a new exciting level! Your participation was inspiring! The wait has been long for these episodes, and Fr. Leo appreciates your patience in waiting. Now, we invite you to watch our special traveling episodes which connect faith, food, families, and our human family in a more powerful way.
Below is the line up of the schedule through November 7th, 2015. We will update more show dates in the coming weeks, after the Pope's visit and after the Advent & Christmas Season. All Savoring our Faith episodes air each Thursday at 5:00pm EDT on EWTN (Check Local Listing) by visiting www.EWTN.com/savoringourfaith.
We visit Little Rock's Cathedral of St. Andrew, exploring the European Roots by visiting Silvek's delicious and traditional Bakery, and then cooking a special meal with Cacki Upchurch - director of the Little Rock Scripture Study.
We explore Little Rock's multi-cultural Church of St. Edward and chat with Pastor, Fr. Jason Tylor. We'll eat at Fonda's Mexican Cuisine and Tequilla Bar, and hear about Vocations with Msgr. Friend and some seminarians.
We will get a taste of the Lord's Comfort in Little Rock, AR, by visiting a unique shrine in the Parish of Holy Souls Catholic Church and talk to Fr. Leo's good friend and classmate Fr. Erik Pohlmeier, learn about Arkansas' delicious comfort food - Barbecue at Whole Hog Cafe. Then we'll cook a meal with Gina Blinz of Holy Sews, director of a very special ministry.
We will educate ourselves in art and culture by visiting John Paul the Great Catholic University in Escondido, CA, educate our palate at La Farfalla Cafe, and cook with some of the JPII the Great students Timmerie Millington and Chas Baines
We will go on a mission, visiting the Missions of San Diego with Fr. Richard Perozich and then cook with some of our finest military members, CDR Darlak and Seamen Jimenez and Quinones.
We will build a kingdom, one village at a time by learning about St. Vincent DePaul Village
