JUST heard about you on Food Network watching Showdown!!
Good for you Father. If you ever get to Lake Orion MI Our Father Mike Verschaeve, of St.Joseph’s is, so I have been told a gourmet cook, bet the two of you can really make culinary history!
May God continue to bless you.

Posted by Jeff Rydel on January 2nd, 2010 at 5:12 pm.I just missed the Bobby Flay show! It was listed on the guide long enough for me to say, “Hey, I recognize that name!” Then I found your blog. I’m thrilled to have found it! I heard you speak a few years ago at St. Joseph’s in Cockeysville.
Posted by Mara on January 2nd, 2010 at 5:24 pm.Just wanted to say my 24 year old son and I watched your “Throwdown” episode tonight and laughed and enjoyed each other. I believe that is what you are striving to do for a family, and I just wanted to let you know you have succeeded. We laughed together and talked about what kind of dishes we may serve together for the next holiday. I hope to see you on the Food Network soon.
